CKC World Cricket Festival 2019

CKC World Cricket Festival 2019

The CKC (Capital Kids Cricket) World Cricket Festival is being held on 8th July 2019 (the day before the ICC Cricket World Cup semi-final) at Hackney Marshes.

The event will mark the 30th year anniversary of CKC by aiming to encourage and inspire children from some of the most disadvantaged areas of London, staying true to their founding goal of regenerating cricket in schools.

The festival will start at 9:30am with up to 1,500 children from 50 London primary schools plus teachers and volunteers who will come together not only to celebrate the sport but also to take part in a Guinness World Record attempt.

As an extra special treat the ICC will be taking the Cricket World Cup Trophy to the festival allowing the children and the schools the opportunity to take pictures with the trophy.

If you would like to provide sponsorship or volunteer at the event please send an email and for general event information, visit the Capital Kids Cricket website.
