ELBP & Building Legacies COVID-19 Response Plan
With the escalation of the COVID-19 outbreak in the UK, we are putting a number of measures in place to ensure we can maintain a normal service whilst protecting both our colleagues and clients.
Following the government guidelines to minimise the further spread of the virus, our response plan includes the following actions, which will be reviewed and communicated as the situation develops:
- To minimise the risk of exposing colleagues and yourselves unnecessarily and to ensure robust business continuity and appropriate social distancing, we have postponed all group workshops and events until further notice
- We have also closed the Canary Wharf office and instructed all colleagues to work from home for a minimum of four weeks.
- We have ceased all face-to-face client meetings for at least the next four weeks. However, you can still contact your dedicated Business Growth Manager (BGM) by phone, email, or other appropriate technologies i.e. Skype, Zoom.
- We are currently looking into additional technologies i.e. podcasts, webinars and video conferencing to support us in the continued delivery of key business support and resiliency workshops and communications. Please bear with us as we re-plan our events schedule to facilitate the required levels of remote training and consultancy.
GOVERNMENT FINANCIAL SUPPORT
You will no doubt have heard of a number of measures the government is now putting in place in terms of financial support and assistance for SMEs. Once we are fully aware of the formal fact-based guidelines on where/how to signpost you to the best advice, we will of course communicate this accordingly.
To further supplement this information, we shall also be working with business sector experts and a number of our specialist business trainers and consultants to provide regular advisory bulletins as we move forward.
CONTINUING THROUGH UNCERTAIN TIMES
Whilst the situation continues to develop and the scale of disruption remains uncertain, we will endeavour to offer a ‘business as usual’ service to all clients, and we hope the measures we have put in place will allow us to continue providing business support and supply-chain brokerage during this difficult period.
In the interim, if you are concerned about any business-impacting issues or you just need a quick check-in call to a critical-friend, please do not hesitate to contact your BGM immediately. As you know, we pride ourselves on the face-to-face support services we provide, and whilst that is not feasible at this present moment in time, we are committed to providing the highest standards possible.
